About Me

Every individual has the right to a defense — regardless of the charges brought against them, their social standing, or professional position. The right to defense is a cornerstone of the rule of law, one of the most fundamental civil liberties, and a basic guarantee of a fair criminal trial. It is also a mission that I carry out every day as an attorney specializing in criminal law.

An attorney must defend. Criminal defense is not merely a professional obligation — it is an expression of courage, loyalty, and faith in justice. For me, it is one of the most meaningful roles I fulfill in life. In the prosecutor’s office and in the courtroom, I am the voice of the accused — their shield and their hope.

My legal training, completed in Wrocław under the patronage of the distinguished attorney Wojciech Krzysztoporski, as well as my work at a renowned law office in Wrocław, allowed me to learn the legal profession from the ground up. I gained practical knowledge and skills essential to handling both civil and criminal cases. Although early in my career I was fascinated by commercial civil law, it was criminal cases that made me realize that defense work is my true calling.

First as a trainee attorney and later as an Attorney at Law practicing in Wrocław, I have appeared in high-profile criminal proceedings. These included cases involving bribery in retail chains and professional football, the so-called “Warsaw reprivatization” cases, and the Świdnica “Boxers’ Gang” case. I have repeatedly represented clients in lustration proceedings and conducted defense activities in cases involving drug production, VAT carousel fraud, fictitious invoices, and crimes related to the Forex market. I have also participated in criminal proceedings involving police officers, physicians, soldiers, senior executives, and professional legal representatives — reflecting the high level of trust placed in me by clients and fellow professionals.

At this stage of my professional path, criminal law remains closest to my personal predispositions. Over the years, I have learned to listen before a client begins to speak. I believe that a good attorney does not stand above the client, but stands alongside them — next to those who need support. My law office in Wrocław represents both defendants and victims. A significant portion of the cases we handle involve drug offenses, sexual offenses, white-collar and economic crimes, crimes against life and health, as well as minor criminal matters, such as driving under the influence of alcohol.

Despite my strong focus on criminal law, my practice is not limited exclusively to this field. Clients are welcome to consult me on other legal matters as well.

Fees

Fees – transparency and fairness from the start of our cooperation

I understand that one of the key factors influencing the choice of an attorney – alongside professionalism, experience, and specialization – is the cost of legal services. What matters most is not only the amount of the fee, but above all its clear and transparent determination from the very beginning of our cooperation.

Court proceedings can last for years. Therefore, as an attorney specializing in criminal law, I have always placed particular emphasis on ensuring that the client understands the billing rules and the full scope of legal assistance. Clear terms of cooperation help avoid uncertainty when planning costs.

Flat Fee – a solution without surprises

In the vast majority of cases, my law office in Wrocław applies a flat fee system, which covers handling the case up to the issuance of the first-instance court verdict – regardless of the number of hearings or other procedural actions. This billing model provides clients with peace of mind and a guarantee that, as their attorney, I will be fully committed to the case without charging extra for each contact or court appearance.

Importantly, if the case is heard in Wrocław, I do not charge additional fees for attending court. If travel outside Wrocław is required, a fixed travel fee is added to the agreed-upon remuneration.

Criminal Cases – prompt action, flexible approach

In criminal cases – especially urgent situations, such as detention or temporary arrest – immediate action by the attorney is necessary, often without prior access to case files. In such cases, an initial fee may be agreed with the family or close relatives of the detained person, which is then credited toward the total fee for handling the case.

Alternative Billing – why not?

To meet clients’ needs, I also offer other billing options – fees can be arranged hourly, per specific procedural action, or split into installments.

If you are looking for an attorney in Wrocław who combines expertise and dedication with transparent and fair billing, I invite you to get in touch. Every case is discussed individually, always respecting the client’s circumstances and expectations.

Psychological Support

As a criminal law attorney based in Wrocław, I fully understand that criminal proceedings are not only a legal challenge but also a significant psychological burden – both for suspects or defendants and their families. Criminal cases often involve highly personal, intimate, or even traumatic matters.

For cases requiring special care, I cooperate with experienced psychologists – a married couple from Wrocław, Aneta Misiewicz-Sitarska and Stanisław Sitarski – who, if needed, can provide professional support to my clients.

Experience shows that parallel psychological support can help clients not only survive the stressful period of criminal proceedings but also prepare properly for it – emotionally, personally, and sometimes even procedurally (e.g., in cases involving sexual offenses, domestic violence, or minors).

Through this collaboration, my law firm in Wrocław offers a holistic approach, considering both legal and psychological aspects, which significantly enhances the comfort and effectiveness of client representation in criminal cases.
